Hock Seng Marine Engineering Pte Ltd, founded in Singapore in the 1980s (previously known as Hock Seng Marine Fittings Company), is a well established marine engineering organization specializing in the design and fabrication of marine grade windows, doors, hatches, ladders and other types of hull outfittings to an interior accommodation system like lining/wall/ceiling panels and pre-fabricated sanitary modules. We constantly add value to our products and services by providing solutions for builders, repairers and retrofitters of merchant/passenger vessels and offshore units. The company in Singapore remains as the headquarters from which the core activities such as sales and field service operate.
In recognition of the quality of our products and services, both Hock Seng Marine Engineering Pte Ltd and Simpac Marine Sdn Bhd attained the LRQA ISO 9001 certification in June 2000. This is an assurance to our customers on the quality and conformity of our products to the stringent marine standards.
By widening the reach to our overseas customers, a Support office, Hock Seng Marine Engineering (Wuxi) Co. Ltd is set up in China in 2007 and Simpac Marine (India) Pvt Ltd in India in 2010, in view of providing better sales supports to our overseas customers. Over the years, Hock Seng Marine has developed an enviable reputation in the marine and shipbuilding industry. The proven quality and reliability of our products and services coupled with more than 30 years of experience have secured the trust and confidence of many customers in South East Asia, China, India, Middle East and South American countries such as Mexico, Chile and Brazil.
Established In 1994, it is now 13,000 square metre factory in Malaysia, Pasir Gudang. Being the main manufacturing base where a strong team in the engineering, production and quality control functions has been built up. An R&D team is also formed to constantly upgrade and improve on our products.
To expand our resources and capabilities, a Support office, Hock Seng Marine Engineering (Wuxi) Co. Ltd, is set up in China in 2007 in view to increase productivity and efficiency.
Simpac Marine (India) Pvt Ltd is established in 2010 to provide better sales support to our overseas customers. Managing by Singapore Sales Director himself and with his specialized team, they have successfully completed upto 6 turn key jobs for India shipyards.
